LINEUP CHANGE: ARVID NORDSTRAND LEAVES THE BANDPublished: Thursday, 24th of June , 2010
Drummer Arvid Nordstrand has left Charlotte & The Co-Stars after six years' service.
Nordstrand cites his moving 700 km from Oslo to Namsos and a desire to prioritize his family and work as the main reasons for his leaving the band. "It is with my deepest regret I have come to the conclusion that I'm leaving Charlotte & The Co-Stars. I choose to prioritize family and work in Namsos over attempting to make everything fit in in order to rehearse and perform with the band. I would like to thank the others for six years of ups and downs, and wish them all the best in the time to come," says Nordstrand in a statement. The 36-year-old is currently working in Namsos' fire department. It is currently not clear whether he wishes to continue pursuing his music career, but he is featured as the sole drummer on C&TCS's forthcoming album, scheduled for release this autumn. Nordstrand's replacement is Kenneth Andersen (36), currently also a member of stoner/punk rock band Honcho. | ||
